Amanda and Robin set up A&R Tiles in 1989 in a portacabin. Robin fitting the tiles and Amanda running the shop day to day. Since then, not a lot has changed. We have moved the shop twice and are now settled in Shaftesbury.
Amanda is still in the shop, offering expert advice with her daughter in law, Emma, while her son, Edward, now does the fitting. Robin remains in the background buying products. We are still a family business offering over 25 years of experience, and now into the second generation.
There’s not a lot we haven’t come across, so if you’re looking to change a splash back or embarking on a new building project we can offer any help or advice required.
The showroom has moved twice over the years and is now at it’s present location at Salisbury Road in Shaftesbury.
With a hands on attitude we have always tried to offer one of the widest selections of tiles, covering most genres on the market, keeping customers demands foremost in mind when choosing new products.
